Seize the day

take it in your hands

grasp the edges and don't let go

although you can't take complete control

whatever part you hold

seize every choice and opportunity

and don't let go

live it out till the end comes about

and don't let go

you may be rattled to bits

by the turns and twists 

but don't let go

they'll try to pry it from your fingers

and say you have no hold

and say you have no choice

no place to grasp this day

and that it’s not your fault

as they try to wrench it from your hands

but don't let go!
